Free hypnosis audio files downloads
On the Internet there are many free hypnosis audio files downloads available, some are serious "tasters", given in the hope that you'll buy a complete set later or, failing that, a course on self hypnosis for example. Many other downloads are a little bit dodgy so one should be careful. You need to know you're looking for and why. As with anything on the internet, there are many great things out there and fantastic people but there are also sites that wish to steal information from you and your computer and subjects such as hypnosis and other alternative (or newly accepted forms of) medicines seem to produce more than the average.
Hypnosis has a mixed history which creates mixed feelings in people. Nowadays hypnosis is a recognised field of study leading even to medical qualifications. Scientists have proved that hypnosis does have an effect on the way our brain processes commands and suggestions. Even despite all this, many people still have misconceptions and fears concerning the reputation of hypnosis and rumours of thought control still circulate nowadays. The stage magician with his "power" over subjects has left some people with a mistrust of hypnosis, others with a kind of dread fascination.
Hypnosis can be done in two ways:
Progressive Relaxation (or PR) which is used by the majority of medical practitioners qualified in the use of hypnotherapy. This method uses a gentle form of soothing or relaxation to ease the subject into a hypnotic state. It can take 30 minutes or more before the subject reaches the end of the third or deepening phase.
Rapid Induction (or RI) is generally used more for stage hypnosis or other instances where the subject has to reach a deepened hypnotic state in a short period of time. Using this method involves the use of the subject's mental anticipation combined with some type of shock to the subject. This method can be used to induce hypnosis in only a few seconds.
Hypnosis can be induced using "mind machines" involving LED equipped glasses and audio tapes. Audio tapes on their own can be used to relax a person or produce binaural beats thereby inducing a hypnotic state. Binaural beats according to scientific evidence produce sounds on slightly different frequencies that when heard through stereo headphones produce a beating sound apparently from the brain itself that produces a deeply relaxed pre-hypnotic state in the subject. These binaural beats are often combined with music in order to induce a hypnotic state and sold as relaxation tapes, some are available free on the internet and can be found when you search online for free hypnosis audio files downloads. Another product available that some people find useful is computer programs that supposedly help a person focus in order to achieve self hypnosis although this has not been proven.
Of course although the use of mind machines and computer programs are more often used for self hypnosis, the use of audio tapes is spread throughout the hypnosis community, everyone seems to use them including Academies and colleges but also individuals. This explains why free hypnosis audio tapes downloads are so popular on the WWW.
